History

In 1995, a team of expert fundraisers created Legacy Leaders Inc. to meet the needs of planned giving professionals. An immense potential for planned gifts to nonprofit organizations exists in North America and Legacy Leaders recognized that traditional marketing methods left a void of effective tools for maximizing this opportunity. To fill this void, Legacy Leaders began applying sophisticated direct-response and database marketing techniques to secure planned gifts. The results were tremendous. Because our approach broke new ground in planned gift marketing, leading professional fundraising publications featured articles about Legacy Leaders.

The company has grown dramatically since 1995. Legacy Leaders has worked with over 100 organizations including universities and colleges, hospitals and health charities, religious organizations, environmental, social welfare and overseas groups.

Today, in addition to our turn-key planned giving marketing programs, we also offer a variety of other products and services. Legacy Leaders provides easy-to-use, web-delivered planned giving products for fundraisers including re-insured charitable gift annuities and guaranteed issue life insurance policies. These products allow gift planners to work directly with their donors with current, sophisticated planning vehicles at their finger tips. For those clients with a need for training programs or campaign planning, we offer a variety of consulting services.
